Funded in part by a grant from the J. Paul Getty Trust, the City of Los Angeles’ Office of Historic Resources is undertaking the project using a state-of-the-art custom field database, which allows consultants to complete a survey of unprecedented size in a consistent and time-effective manner.
ARG is proud to have worked with the Los Angeles Office of Historic Resources on nearly every phase of the SurveyLA project, including historic contexts, database development, and field surveys. Since 2008, ARG has surveyed nearly 400,000 parcels in Los Angeles – one block at a time.
