Excerpt:

“The product of a public-private initiative that supports sustainable development, Cavallo Point occupies the former Fort Baker Army base that was built between 1901 and 1910 and which is now part of the Golden Gate National Parks. The resort consists of 24 Colonial Revival buildings (housing guest rooms, reception, a restaurant, bar and meeting rooms) grouped around a 10-acre parade ground, as well as newer guest-room buildings and a spa. The entire ensemble nestles into the spectacular landscape.”
