Beringer Vineyards
Beringer Blass Wine Estates, Inc.
St. Helena, California

Developed by Frederick and Jacob Beringer in the 1870s, Beringer Vineyards is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic District and is the oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley. The site contains various residential and winemaking structures and extensive gardens, including the 1884 National Register Rhine House, and the 1876 stone winery and caves with tunnels into the hillside.

ARG developed a master plan to preserve and rehabilitate the historic buildings and enhance the gardens. Project scope includes the Rhine House restoration as a house museum, and relocation of its public retail and tasting functions to the Winery building. ARG is providing architectural services from design development through construction, as well as historic preservation and Tax Act consultation.
