Nickel & Nickel Winery The Nickel & Nickel Winery site was originally part of a 125-acre parcel along the Napa River purchased by John Crawford Sullenger in 1865. Serving as prime architect, ARG is renovating the 1880s Sullenger residence by restoring the existing materials and reprogramming the first floor space to be used as receiving and tasting rooms for winery visitors, and configuring the second floor into office space. In addition, ARG is working in conjunction with Brandenberger, Taylor & Lombardo to complete rehabilitation work on other on-site buildings, and consulting to the landscape architect on the historic characteristics of the site. ARG is also assisting Far Niente with completion of a National Register Nomination for the property, as well as consulting on an application for the use of Federal Historic Tax Credits.
