UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy This original Ernest Coxhead-designed building served as the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house and is now home to the Graduate School of Public Policy. From 1996-98, we provided design and construction administration services for its seismic strengthening and renovation. In working with the school and the University, we recently developed the design for a new adjacent building to accomodate program needs. The three-story building will house two classrooms and twelve faculty offices. A key component of the project was to design a structure that respects the residential look and feel of the neighborhood, providing the necessary addition without overwhelming the site. |
