Founded in 1980, Architectural Resources Group, Inc. (ARG) is a 50-person, full service architectural practice founded in San Francisco, with offices in Pasadena and Portland. ARG provides a wide range of specialized architectural, material conservation, and planning services for rehabilitation, adaptive re-use, and new design of a variety of structures and occupancies for both public and private clients.

ARG principals and staff members are nationally recognized experts in renovations and new construction. The quality and depth of our in-house resources differentiates ARG from other architectural firms. Professionals from our 50-person staff include 20 registered architects as well as architectural designers, an in-house cost estimator, construction manager, remedial repair specialists, and tax credit preservation planners.
Our experience includes award-winning innovative solutions for the adaptive re-use and seismic strengthening of existing structures, stabilization schemes, materials conservation, documentation, and restoration of historic properties, universal access design, and design of new structures. Our staff members bring extensive experience applying The Secretary's Standards for the Rehabilitation of Historic Buildings.
