Founding Principal

A founding principal of ARG, Steve brings 30 years experience in the field of architecture and planning. He is a nationally-recognized expert in the design and rehabilitation of architecturally signifi cant buildings and sites and is particularly knowledgeable about the California State Historical Building Code, serving on the Executive Committee of the California State Historical Safety Board. He is currently Vice Chairman of the US Committee of the International Council of Monuments and Sites and has served on the steering committee for the Getty Conservation Institute’s Seismic Adobe Project. Steve leads ARG’s Sustainable Design Studio, integrating sustainability issues into all of ARG’s planning and design projects.
